Staff at Pelton Nursery in Durham
The biggest asset of Buttercup Nurseries is the commitment and enthusiasm of its staff team. Staff have an excellent knowledge of the children as individuals and work in partnership with parents to enable them to meet the needs of the child.
Staff skills and expertise are updated regularly through training. Their empathy with the children in their care is further developed by our Key worker System where each child and family has their own allocated staff member.
Key Workers
At all Buttercup Nurseries we have special members of staff who will spend lots of time with your child. The key worker will be able to inform you of what your child has taken part in at nursery. They are always there to talk to and answer any questions about your childs progress. Key workers complete a child development file and the nursery holds parents evenings on a six monthly basis.
Within our nursery provision, we have senior members of staff who have specific lead roles. This enables them to support the nursery team to ensure the day to day care and needs of the children are fulfilled.
Beth Collins is Room Leader within Yellow Room.
Kaylie Spence is Room Leader within Red and Blue Room.
