Staff at Gray Avenue Nursery in Durham
One of the biggest assets of Buttercup Nurseries is the commitment and enthusiasm of its staff team. Staff have an excellent knowledge of children as individuals and work in partnership with you to best meet their needs. Staff skills and expertise are regularly updated through training. The empathy staff offer to the children in their care is further developed by our Keyworker System, where each child and family has their own allocated member of staff.
Keyworkers
At all Buttercup Nurseries we have special members of staff called Keyworkers who will spend lots of time with your child. They will be able to tell you all about what your child has had fun learning and playing. They will always be there for you to talk to and answer any questions about your child's progress. Your Keyworker will take time to complete a child development file and on a six monthly basis will hold a parents review to show you lots of photographs and observation, a little insite into your childs day at nursery.
Hello my name is Adele and I am a Nursery Assistant within the Yellow Room where we care for children age 6 weeks-2 years. We ensure that all childrens individual needs are met and that we take time to get to know the child and family. I thrive on helping children to develop and enjoy planning activities based on individual child observations. We love getting messy in the Yellow Room and often take time out to play in our garden!!
