Funding and Payment Policies

Payment of Fees

Buttercup Nursery has a payment policy in place to ensure the efficient collection of Fees.
We will explain the details of our policy and any funding options available on your visits to the Nursery and on registration of your place, however detailed below are the main points;

  • Fees must be paid one month in advance on the first day of the month.
  • Fees are collected by Direct Debit.
  • Cash or Cheque payments will incur a 5% Handling Fee
  • A fee of £25 will be charged if a direct debit is cancelled by the customer and requires reinstating.
  • A £10 administration fee will be charged on a weekly basis for any late payments.

Funding Available

There are a number of funding options available to help parents/carers with childcare costs.

Childcare Vouchers

Childcare vouchers are one of the ways in which employers can help their staff with the cost of childcare, this is also a benefit as it saves the employer the cost of Employers National Insurance contributions. The benefit to employees is that the vouchers are exempt from both tax and National Insurance Contributions. 

Tax Credit

Tax credits are provided by the Government to help Parents and carers with the cost of childcare.
The amount available through tax credits is dependant on individual circumstances. 

Nursery Education Grant *

Nursery Education Grant is available from the term following your Childs third birthday. This entitlement provides five free 2.5 hour sessions per week during term time. If Sessional /Full Day Care is required, the amount of Nursery Education Grant will be deducted from your monthly invoice
