Welcome to Gray Avenue Children's Centre
Hi, I'm Dawn Crosby, Manager at Buttercup Nursery, Gray Avenue, Chester-Le-Street.
Since qualifying with an NNEB in Childcare nine years ago, I have worked within a variety of settings working with children of all ages and stages of development. In addition to my childcare experience I have taken positive steps to enhance my career by developing my knowledge of management.
Within my role as manager, I believe it is important to work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure the needs of individual children and their families are achieved. As manager I provide a high quality service for families within the surrounding area and liaise closely with Sure Start and local schools.
Holly Charlton, my Deputy Manager is a vital member of my team. After gaining her childcare qualification a number of years ago she has worked in various nursery settings. Holly is currently holds a Foundation degree in Early Years.
